The development of a Driver Goal ensures that there is an articulated and quantified need and that we are positioned to assist with that need. By creating a SMART (Specific, Measurale, Attainable, one with Reach, and one with a Timetable) goal, we and the organization have a clearly defined objective.
Driver Goals take many forms, but often they are expressed as a percentage change in a senior-level business indicator, within a specific period of time. This defines scope of the change required, it creates urgency and it can be valued to support a business case to invest in the change.
