MEASURABLE RESULTS


The Business Case, developed during Discovery and Design, provided a weekly projection of benefits and the investment required.

The Highland Group's reputation is based on achieving results for our clients.  For that reason, we assign a Scorekeeper to work with the client's organization to establish weekly metrics to demonstrate the progress of the project against the Driver Goal and the progress of each team's efforts.

Combined with this project-results focus, the scorekeeper assists the workstreams to implement the System for Managing to measure and monitor the key indicators of the business.

 

Key Steps in the Measurement Process

1.  Identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that support the Driver Goal.
2.  Identify data sources and baselines.
3.  Develop the executive dashboard and project scorecard with the client's organization.
4.  Establish accountability within the client organization and transfer responsibilities.
5.  Regular publication of the scorecard and System for Managing dashboard.
